什麼是物理奧林匹亞競賽？
物理奧林匹亞競賽，英文名為「Physics Olympiad」，在大陸又稱奧里奧林匹克競賽。
物理奧林匹亞競賽是給國中生、高中生的物理競賽，題目難度非常高，不過只要成功進入決賽，都可以保送台灣的頂尖大學物理系。
台灣十分重視物理奧林匹亞比賽，每年全台會有約3000名學生參加初試（在全台各地都有考場），選出400名成績優秀的學生參加複試。
接著再從400名學生當中，選出30名學生進入決賽。在決賽當中，可以有16位學生成功代表台灣出國進行全國賽。這16位學生全部都能保送台灣頂尖大學物理系！
不過，物理奧林匹亞「初試」的難度部分題目已經是大學普物的範圍，所以能夠成功進入複試並不是簡單的一件事。
「複試」的題目難度又更上一層樓，必須從400名菁英當中挑選出30名，題目範圍在大學、碩士物理系的難度！所以想要通過測驗，必須先超修完大學數學系的內容，還有物理系的內容，非常不簡單。
考試前準備
因為物奧競賽的題目，有些常數實際數字很醜，所以可以帶工程計算機過去，照理說去考試的人都會帶一台計算機。
另外，物奧考試跟平常學校段考比較不一樣，他們是選擇題（2021年新增）＋填充題，但全部都是原子筆寫上去，不需要用到自動筆喔！
由於在新冠肺炎期間，學生在考試期間必須全程配戴口罩，下面圖片是我帶過去的物品。（別忘了帶證件喔！）
前往場地-桃園永豐高中：
這次我報名了桃園場的物理奧林匹亞競賽，考試地點位於永豐高中。
我先從桃園火車站坐車到內壢火車站
接著搭乘Uber直接到永豐高中。
抵達永豐高中後，先去看自己的考生編號，順便確認自己的考試場地位置。
這次考試時間為下午1:30～下午4:30，總時長為3個小時。確認完自己的考場後，我就直接前往，路途中也看到不少考生，準備著等等要考的範圍。
進入考場與考試過程：
進入考場後，必須把文具及證件以外的物品放置前方。
接著走到自己的座位，隨收拍幾張照片。
然後就開始考試了：）
結論：
很多高中生對於物理蠻有興趣，不過聽到物奧競賽的題目難度這麼高，就直接放棄了。我想告訴大家，雖然有些題目很難，但也有很簡單的題目，只要能把握住一些簡單的題目，還有基礎高一、高二物理題，就很有機會過初試。
至於過了初試的人，如果你是對物理超級無敵有興趣，我才建議你去準備複試，畢竟初試與複試的難度又相差甚遠了，準備起來完全不同一個等級。

補充資訊來自 Teddy Liu：
1.初選入選人數往年皆為約300人，從今年起才改為400人。
2.大約30名決選營成員當中，獲得綜合成績名次為前半的學生擁有「推薦」各大學物理系資格（可選填3志願）。
3.本屆因台灣為亞洲物理奧林匹亞（APHO，簡稱「亞奧」）的主辦國，因此可選出8人組成客隊、8人組成主隊，共計16人。非台灣主辦時，由決選營中選取2人備取8人正取參加亞奧，共計10人。
4.亞奧比賽結束後將參照決選營與亞奧比賽成績選出5人繼續受訓準備參加國際物理奧林匹亞（IPHO，簡稱國奧）。
5.在亞奧或國奧獲得金、銀、銅牌選手可推薦或保送大學科系（不一定僅限物理系），並依序獲得20萬、10萬、5萬獎學金。
6.物奧初試主要是高中範圍，少部分題目涉及大一普物。複試主要在大一普物範圍與部分涉及大二電磁學、運動學等非現代物理範疇。決選營為期三週，前二週上課作實驗、最後一週有理論與實驗考試。除前述複試範圍外，添入部分相對論與量子力學（非極深入）。
7.物奧複試起需應用些許工程數學，但絕非需超修完大學數學系教程。物理上也至多涉及至大三、大四水平，終究屬於中學全球性競賽。
另外，進入物奧決選營之方法並非僅通過複試一種。
總計方法有如下三種：
1.通過物奧複試。（滿分150分，前二年通過標準都大約48分）
2.學科能力競賽物理科全國前三到前五名左右。（學科能力競賽物理科決賽每年會選出3~5人可以進入決選營受訓、爭取國手資格，此名額不列入前述30人）
3.於前一屆曾獲得決選營前半資格可免通過初試、複試，直接入選決選營。但是2016年起曾經作為國手出賽的成員不得再次作為國手出手。
（此名額無上限，亦不列入前述30人）故過去每年決選營實際人數大約40人左右。
